Head of Market Affairs, CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers)

Nils Poel has assumed the role of Head of Market Affairs as of 1 September 2023. He will work closely with the CLEPA team, the association members, and key stakeholders, in the formulation of coherent policy proposals that protect the level playing field within the automotive ecosystem and strengthen the EU as a competitive and sustainable destination for automotive investment.

Preceding his role as the Head of Market Affairs, Mr Poel worked for four years at CLEPA in different roles, most recently as Deputy Head of Market Affairs. Before joining CLEPA, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group, Brunswick Group and the European Commission (DG GROW).

He started his career as an analyst of the automotive supply industry and holds a master’s degree in public administration from Leiden University.

Originally from the Netherlands, Mr Poel speaks English, Dutch and German.
