Nello Li Pira
Global Chief Materials For Electrification, Stellantis

Nello Li Pira, Dr. General Physics, University of Torino, 2000. He obtained his PhD at the Polytechnic of Turin in 2010. He currently works as Global Chief for Materials for Electrification in the Sustainable Raw Materials Department at Stellantis. He is in charge of the new activities related to defining raw and active materials for energy storage, magnetism, and electronics encompassing components such as battery cells, battery packs, electrical drive motors (eDM), fuel cells and hydrogen power trains. All these materials are included in the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 and involved in the technology roadmaps 2023-2038. He is engaged in the technical management of the deals with the Stellantis Joint Ventures and new raw materials suppliers.

He has international experience in European projects in the frame of Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 programs as project coordinator and scientific responsible. He is the inventor of over 10 industrial patents and the author of more than 10 international publications.
