Pathfinder in several countries of Europe, the US and Canada, Eric is supporting, as Venture Partner, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, an investment firm seeking to finance, launch, and scale companies (more than 100 to date) that will eliminate greenhouse gas emissions throughout the global economy. His talks are also inspired amongst others, by his former experience as a start-up entrepreneur, an Executive Committee member of the vaccine BU of an F500 company, and a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Eric is a Medical Doctor -specialising in public health & epidemiology, a Physical Chemist -specialising in air pollution & physics of the environment, and an MBA.
