Innovation in Sustainable Copper Mining
As the world shifts closer towards the green and digital transition, the demand for copper, an essential mineral for solar power, wind energy, bioenergy, electricity network production, as well as EVs and battery storage, will only increase. To support the demand, the approximate number of new copper mines must increase by 80 by 2030, in addition to the 250 copper mines worldwide in existence.
In this session, partners from the entire Copper ecosystem will share their insights, the latest research towards sustainable mineral processing and as well as the MissionZero-mine.
