Quentin de Hults
Director General, International Copper Association Europe (ICA Europe)

Quentin de Hults is the new Director General of the International Copper Association Europe (ICA Europe).
He joined ICA Europe three years ago. A mechanical engineer by training, he spent his entire career working on topics related to the energy transition. Before joining ICA, he worked for 13 years at BASF, established and led the Modern Building Alliance, and accumulated over 10 years of experience in EU government relations.
Quentin de Hults stated that ICA is a key partner in the EU’s decarbonisation and raw material agenda: “Copper is a strategic raw material for the energy transition. I’m eager to work with EU policymakers, partners, and members on these matters and to showcase the tremendous work of ICA members on responsible sourcing and decarbonisation in and out of Europe.”
